more than a neighbor

many of you know by now that i am absolutely crazy about stamping and scrapbooking, and have now created a seperate site just for my madness. well, through this new love of mine, i am discovering a wonderful group of friends that i am so thankful to have.

one of which is patty. this lady's creations are just amazing! if i could be one fourth as creative as she is then i'd be satisfied. outside of stamping, laughing and having fun, we share passion for some of the same things like photography, flowers, family, friends, and faith. hmpf. funny how that worked :) along with patty are my 'sisters' in ink, sharon and ellen, and we always have a blast when together. i thank them for their prayers.

here's a pretty card patty sent me when i started this last round of chemo. it's a picture of one of her beautiful flowers from her garden, which i'm currently coveting due to my own backyard garden fiasco, along with some wonderful 'reminders'.

her majesty, princess inkyfingers

ok, juan has been really on me to get another site up that's just for my cards and scrapbooking. so.... i finally did it. PRINCESS INKYFINGERS is now up (http://princessinkyfingers.blogspot.com)

it's still a work in progress, especially since juan called me up moments ago and said, basically, to 'get it done'. love a man in charge, lol!! so i just very quickly posted some pic's. i'm still working on my watermark and copywrite stuff, but please check it out! and if you want to purchase or place an order for anything, please let me know, i will be more than happy to take care of you!

also, i will start conducting classes, once i get my wits about me after chemo.

a special day and i did it again

like i said in my last post, this is a special week. and today is the birthday of the second (no pun intended! you know what i mean you know who!) special person. so i give a special bday shout out to my sister and friend. i love you!!

and i did it again! all week and no posts since monday. uuhhgg. i have no excuse. i have a confession to make, which i think i've made here before.... i'm addicted to surfing scrapbooking/cardmaking blogs! i mean seriously! i tell myself that i'm gonna log on, check just a few blogs, just to get a few ideas, and bam!! next thing i know, it's 3pm and time for ladybug to come home from school... no projects completed, let alone started! i have such guilt about it too! well, at least i've got a few projects done - a couple of bday cards, an actual 'set' of cards as a gift, and some party favors a nieghbor is paying me for.

oh well.

no new's on my chemotherapy schedule yet. i have to get my mri and cat scan done first, which are scheduled for wednesday. looks like it'll be te second week of may, after mom's day. so i've got a about a week to get a few other scrapping projects done.

oh well... off to post a poem and then work on some cards.

princess inky fingers... and yes, i'm just fine!

well, i've been so busy making cards and scrapbooking, and getting good at it too, that i'm starting to think that it may be time to start a blog dedicated to my cardmaking and scrapping. i don't know. maybe not. maybe i'll just keep doing what i'm doing by posting my stuff, along with what i cook (which i haven't done in a while), here on this blog.

but i came up with a great name though.... PRINCESS INKIE FINGERS huh? huh? you like, don't you?!? i know. i like it too. i'll think about it. anyway, here's some of what i've been up to. i've got to get busy too because my cousin has me doing her baby shower invitations, and i'm doing a friends wedding announcements.... that's MAJOR because not only is she paying me, but she's paying me a little more than what she'd agreed to pay her 'stationer' (and, not to be krass but, it's alot) because they're individually handcrafted. hmmm.... that got me to thinking. maybe i'll start trying to actually 'sell' my stuff! even my mom ordered a dozen note cards. i guess i should get one of those "hand made by..." stamps.
